          One such experience was a recent private event curated for LYON RAW Artisan Honey, hosted by founder and South Africa’s only Honey Sommelier, Natasha Lyon. 
         &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

          A Truly Unique Concept 
         &#xD;
    &lt;/strong&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
          The event celebrated the sixth birthday of LYON RAW, a brand known for producing some of the most exclusive raw honeys in the world often referred to as the 
         &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
          “Louis Vuitton of raw honey.”
         &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Each honey reflects the unique ecosystems of South Africa and supports an important mission: protecting bees and promoting sustainable beekeeping. 
         &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
          For this special evening, Natasha wanted to gift her clients something extraordinary - a culinary journey where food would be carefully paired with nine distinct honey varieties, each representing different South African biomes. 
         &#xD;

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
          Chef Guy and the Gemelli Bespoke gastronomy team took on the challenge of designing a menu that would highlight the complex flavours of each honey while maintaining the elegance and refinement expected from a Gemelli dining experience. 
         &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

          The event welcomed 50 guests, each invited to explore a curated tasting menu where honey was the star of every dish.

          The culinary experience was designed to showcase how honey can transform both savoury and sweet dishes.

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

          Guests enjoyed pairings such as:

           Salmon with Herb Crème Fraîche on honey toasted bruschetta with crispy capers 
          &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
           Spinach &amp;amp; Ricotta Ravioli finished with honey sage butter and beurre blanc 
          &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
           Parma Ham with Nectarine, Honey &amp;amp; Bee Pollen 
          &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
           Coffee-Rubbed Beef Fillet with honey citrus bocconcini and parmesan crema 
          &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
          The experience concluded with indulgent desserts including Berry &amp;amp; Bloom Cheesecake with Drogie Honey and a Fragrant Honey Chia Crème Brûlée.
